Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing - Controvarsy

The term "Hacking", whenever comes in mind lead your thoughts towards E-crime, Security breach, Cyber attack, System compromise and disclosure of personal credentials. A crime is always a crime and an illegal action of compromising something with devil purpose. Like that Hacking is world most known word for e-crime. As few security experts says "if hacking is crime" than how a crime can be ethical ?


Point to be noted..... How a crime can be ethical??

There is huge debate over this question. Could a crime be committed in a ethical and legal way? but crime is always crime, than how there could be some ethics, policies and procedure for doing crimes?

Lets understand the "Hacking" term with its real definition. "Hacking is an illegal action and unauthorized access to any system with aim to comprise it for money, revenge etc", and if we talk about "Ethical Hacking" it would be define as a term of illegal action with legal rules and regulations or to compromising someone for the sake of other one. Anyhow, its not over here.

According to few experts review the term "Ethical Hacking" is not exactly justifying the purpose of security with offensive security.
